I created this fun letterpress stationery suite last year for a vibrant young couple who wanted to make a statement about who they were to their family, friends and the world at large! Printed on kraft, it doesn’t give the same deep impression as a 100% cotton paper, but it has such a lovely texture and looks so good with simple black ink.
I cant decide what I love more, the ombre effect of my watercolour letterpress wedding invitation on the ombre effect of the gladioli petals? Either way I am revelling in a sea of pink!
These mason jar invitations have been given that little something extra with a wash of pink watercolour, hand painted on each individual invitation before being printed in a hot pink that any girl will love. Creating something truly distinct and lusciously tactile.
I recently had the pleasure of creating a wedding invitation suite for a vibrant young couple, I really enjoyed the challenge of hand lettering the invitations. Yes, that’s right I hand draw each and every letter, you wont find me using existing fonts.
The invitations were designed to be classic with a modern twist. The use of traditional colours like gold and navy blue coupled with a contemporary hand lettered script has resulted in a fresh look for this fresh young couple.
Designed for a destination wedding the bride and groom to be were keen to share with family and friends their love for Hamilton Island so decided to include a two colour ‘Ceremony Map’ complete with a teeny tiny compass rose and a ‘Travel Information’ card to encourage loved ones to explore the beautiful island during their stay.
